Ananda Academy teaches serious artists and rank amateurs to dance. The brief said to express bliss (the name means “bliss” in Sanskrit) and to do it without dance school cliches – no silhouettes of dancers, no leaping stylized figures with round heads.

(Falling, as I do, in the rank amateur category, I said I’d accept partial payment in dance lessons. I never went and thus remain rank.)
